Plastic is a necessity in our everyday lives. Plastic is part of almost everything we surround ourselves with. Unfortunately, plastic has also become a very big environmental challenge, as only a tiny part of the plastic waste can be recycled.
We can do something about that. Our technology, which is chemical recycling, can turn contaminated waste plastics into oil, which in turn is converted into new chemicals.
Together with mechanical recycling, we can effectively do something about plastic waste.
Who we are
Plast2oil ApS is a company that develops, builds and operates plants which can transform non-recyclable waste plastics into Carbon Fuel. Our plants range from small mobile plants to large stationary plants. The stationary plants range from 10,000 to 20,000 metric tons in capacity per year.
Ocean Plastic
Unfortunately, the oceans around the world have been poluted with plastic. Our plants are able to dispose ocean plastic effectively.
Car Scrap
Cars are filled with plastic. This applies from the interior to the cables in the car. Our plants are capable of disposing the plastic.
Household waste
There is a lot of contaminated plastic in the garbage that is collected from households. Our plants can easily dispose it.
Our Process
We receive the contaminated plastic from households or industries. We crush and break down the plastic into small pieces. It will be dried and any metal will be sorted out. The plastic is transported into our plant, where it is chemically degraded to, among other things, oil and gas. The gas is recycled to operate the plant. The oil is exported to our partners, who convert it into new chemicals. Among other things, the chemicals can be used for the production of new plastics.
Pre-treatment
The contaminated plastic is broken down into small pieces, it is dried, and metal is removed.
Process
In our plant, the plastic undergoes a chemical process in which it is converted into oil and gas.
Refinery
The oil is being converted by our partners into new chemicals that are a part of new plastics.

Our plant is based on pyrolysis technology
Most people who have an oven in their home know that the oven has a pyrolysis function for cleaning. Ass you see the technology is not new, but it is only in the last few years the technology has been used to process waste plastic into carbon fuel.


Directly from your household
The plastic we receive comes primarily from households. But before we can use it, it has to be processed and non-plastic materials are sorted out.
Ready to use
Plastic takes up a lot of space, but it weighs nothing. Therefore, it must be compressed so that we get the best possible use of our plant. Our pre-treatment plastic provides a very optimized combustion.
