Sustainable Development Goal 12
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
With our small and flexible reactors, we can get them placed next to the source of waste plastic and reduce the transportation of plastic.
Our oil is a chemical extract from waste plastic and it replaces a larger amount of crude oil.
By 2020, achieve the environmentally sound management of chemicals and all wastes throughout their life cycle.
By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.
Encourage companies to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle
A vital part of the recycling
Our plants are an integral part of the overall waste life cycle. We can contribute to the recycling of land-based plastics, but also ocean plastics, which today are handed over to landfill.
Our plant can reduce sailing between plastic islands and ports by disposing of the plastic directly at sea. Additionally, our oil can be used directly onboard the ship. This reduces the need for crude oil.
Our oil can be refined into our new chemicals and new plastics in close cooperation with our partners. This contributes to recycling.
The way we operate our plants we can provide downstream traceability. This enables environmental reporting and accountability.
